Richard Greete

My life has been dedicated to serving others. As a college student, I traveled to South Africa, where I discovered a calling to help plant churches and serve communities around the world.

After earning a Master of Divinity from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, I spent 16 years in Japan planting churches and ministering to people and families. Following that season of ministry, I returned to the United States and earned a Master's degree in Counseling from Reformed Theological Seminary.

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, I spent more than 20 years counseling, training, and supporting individuals around the world. I also served as the primary counselor for trauma and families in crisis with Mission to the World.

To continue this lifelong commitment to service, I founded and operate The Brain Initiative. Our mission is to provide a safe, non-invasive, research-based approach to helping our heroes—first responders, veterans, foster families, missionaries, and ministers—overcome trauma, anxiety, overwhelming stress, and insomnia so they can find their way back to health and thrive once again.
